Komoot and Epic Ride Weather
I’m excited to announce that Epic Ride Weather supports Komoot. Users are now able to access personalized weather forecasts for their route or from a previous ride by connecting directly to Komoot from the Epic Ride Weather app.
“The integration of Komoot routes within the Epic Ride Weather app is a very useful addition. Users can check the current forecast within the app and have the option to switch back to Komoot to adapt their routes instantly to avoid increment weather. We love this partnership, since it enables outdoor lovers to plan their routes in even greater detail with the convenience of their mobile phones.”
– Markus Hallermann, co-founder and CEO of Komoot.
With a focus on outdoors, adventure and community, Komoot has created a home for likeminded people. Komoot offers great mapping capabilities that are tailored for exploring the outdoors, with detail about the terrain that you won’t find on Google maps. Whether it’s bikepacking, mountain biking, hiking or road cycling, I’m thrilled to bring personalized weather forecasting to the Komoot adventure community.
Support for Komoot was sparked by interest from the community. Working with the Komoot team has been a delight, with Markus, the co-founder and CEO of Komoot driving a deep relationship. With our shared love of the outdoors and adventure, I’m thrilled with the result of our ongoing partnership.
Epic Ride Weather takes into account your expected location based on your route and speed, combining multiple forecasts to give you a projection of weather over time and space. Epic Ride Weather is available now for iPhone, iOS and Android.
